ELISABETH MOSS EYEING THE STARRING ROLE IN LEIGH WHANNELL’S ‘THE INVISIBLE MAN’

Read Time:1 Minute, 14 Second

Now with One Million % less Johnny Depp! That’s RIGHT, Monster Fans! Variety and other sources are reporting that not only is that pallid, grotesque sex monster being kicked to the curb, but Elisabeth Moss is circling the lead role in the upcoming reboot!

It has been a really hard time to be a Universal Monster fan here lately. #RIPDarkUniverse. That aside, this is tremendous news. On top of that, it’s just generally tremendous news that the properties are now in the hands of Blumhouse and Leigh Whannell. We still have no real plot details at the moment. But, you can be damn sure as soon as we know something, so will you! We are all very excited about these new takes on the Universal Monsters around here. Plus, Leigh Whannell, right?! He’s coming off a great feature with Upgrade, and he surely has a great concept for the first of, hopefully, a few straight-up Monster movies.

Now is the time where we speculate who is going to be the Jack Griffin to Moss’s maybe-Flora, providing this one is a quasi-remake of the James Whale classic. It should be a hunk who like doesn’t really mind looking weird. Luke Evans would be pretty fun. Or maybe Harry Treadaway? What do you all think? Are you as absolutely hyped as we are for a new crop of Universal Monster movies? Do you think Blumhouse can do them justice? Let us know in the comments below.
